Amy Vanderbeek
My name is Amy Vanderbeek and I own River Heights Restorative. Connection and relationship with those I love have always been at the core of who I am.
My own experience with litigation and family court developed an interest in supporting other families experiencing divorce. Then, while volunteering my expertise to the families of the Shakopee school system, that interest blossomed into a passion for coming alongside families and kids to restore communication, nurture healing, and promote healthy relationships.
Together, I work with clients to restore safety and productivity to their important conversations. Similarly, in one-on-one coaching sessions, I offer guidance on communication skills, discernment, and next steps to individuals during times of conflict or separation.
I am a Rule 114 Qualified Neutral for the State of Minnesota and listed on the state alternative dispute resolution roster of mediation professionals. I was trained and certified at the Katallasso Group and provide services through their Restoring-Home program.
Most importantly, I am a dedicated mother of three, who loves volunteering with the school PTA and kayaking, camping, and finding adventure with my kiddos.
I value facing tough situations, and holding space for difficult conversations, and I believe there can be healing, growth, and purpose found amid conflict. I can provide a safe and equal restorative circle for you, your family, and all the important people in your lives.
